In 2021, Mr. Schmidt passed away, leaving numerous family and friends and a strong legacy of helping others. Dedicated to his clients until the very end, Mr. Schmidt took steps before his passing to ensure that his firm would continue with the assistance of Mr. Whitten. Together, they reviewed and discussed the firm’s caseload and client needs at length, allowing Mr. Whitten to continue the firm’s work without interruption.
